The Epic Pure Pitcher Filter is a 150 gallons filter with LED countdown timer of 90 days to know the need of filter replacement. It has a 3-hole filter designed to cater surface water source as compared to its Nano Pitcher model with only 1 hole filter, which is designed to remove bacteria, cyst and other microorganisms from well sourced water. Not much information is stated on its filtering process but it is independently tested to remove contaminants by a third party laboratory. The filter employs a proprietary carbon block technology for adsorption process of contaminants. Epic's pure filter is better at removing fluoride, chloramine, chromium, and zinc. While their nano filters are more effective at reducing bacteria, sulfate, aluminum, and copper.
