Hydroviv water filtration systems are custom made depending on the quality of tap water from your city. Some of their readymade filters are NSF 42 and NSF 53 certified. It uses a combination of activated carbon, ion exchange and specialized ceramics with an emphasis of not using granular media. The lifespan of the filter is about 720 gallons of water. It is estimated to be replaced every 6 months.
