This gravity filter produces 150 gallons of fresh, contaminant free drinking water. The filter is replaced every 90 days. Not much information is stated on its filtering process but it is independently tested to remove contaminants by a third party laboratory. The filter employs a proprietary carbon block technology for adsorption process of contaminants. Epic's pure filter is better at removing fluoride, chloramine, chromium, and zinc. While their nano filters are more effective at reducing bacteria, sulfate, aluminum, and copper.
