About
The Aquatru Classic Countertop Model works by recirculating the water and concentrating contaminants in the tap water tank. It undergoes a 4-filter stage process. The first and second stage are pre-filters to remove sediments and rust. Next stage is the Reverse Osmosis Process which removes 90% of Total Dissolved Solids. Only 20% will flow through the next process, which is the Volatile Organic Compound Filter. The filters need to be replaced to ensure efficient filtration and purification. The pre-carbon filter needs to replace every 600 gallons of water processed. Same with the VOC filter. The reverse osmosis membrane needs to be changed every 1200 gallons of water processed. The system had been certified by a third-party laboratory to adhere NSF/ANSI 372.
