About
Life Straw Sip utilizes an advanced hollow fiber membrane technology. It is like a bundle of straws with microscopic holes so contaminants cannot pass through. The filter performance is tested by an independent laboratory and complies with NSF/ANSI P231 standards for reduction of bacteria and parasites at 99.9999%. It also removes most microplastics. It is handy for traveling but will not remove nearly all contaminants from most tap waters.
