About

Shower filter using a proprietary blend of KDF-55 and Calcium Sulfite. Independent lab testing (Water Filter Guru / SimpleLab Tap Score, 2024) measured ~54% chlorine reduction in shower water, well below Jolie's marketed claims. Not effective against chloramine, disinfection byproducts (DBPs), or water hardness. NSF issued a public notice on April 10, 2024 stating Jolie is not NSF certified and is not authorized to make NSF-177 claims. A class action lawsuit (Rusow et al. v. Jolie Skin Co., filed March 19, 2026, N.D. Cal.) alleges the filter merely reduces rather than removes chlorine. Heavy metal removal in a shower-contact-time setting is not independently verified; testing observed zinc leaching from the KDF media.
