Patented Liquid Silica

Patented liquid silica refers to a proprietary, soluble formulation of silicon (often as orthosilicic acid or stabilized silica), marketed for potential health benefits such as supporting skin, hair, nails, and connective tissues. Silica is naturally found in foods and is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA when used in its purified forms (e.g. silicon dioxide) as a food additive. However, 'patented' formulations may contain undisclosed additives and their bioavailability and efficacy can vary by brand.
