Beech Tree Spirit Essence

A 'flower essence' preparation typically made by sun-infusing beech (Fagus sylvatica) blossoms in water and preserving the dilute solution with ethanol (brandy). Marketed within Bach flower remedies, it contains negligible measurable phytochemicals and is not a nutrient. It is not FDA GRAS for use as a food ingredient and is sold as a homeopathic/alternative remedy; randomized trials and systematic reviews find no efficacy beyond placebo.
