PFAS (PFOA/PFOS)

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) including PFOA and PFOS are synthetic chemicals used for their water, stain, and heat resistant properties. They are persistent environmental pollutants and bioaccumulate in humans and wildlife. Not food ingredients; exposure mostly occurs via contaminated food packaging, water, or materials.
