Aldicarb sulfone is a metabolite of aldicarb, a highly toxic carbamate pesticide. It is not a food ingredient and is considered a hazardous material due to its neurotoxic effects. It inhibits acetylcholinesterase leading to accumulation of acetylcholine causing overstimulation of nervous system.
