Organic Grapefruit Seed Extract

Extract derived from the seeds, pulp, and white membranes of grapefruit, often used as a natural antimicrobial agent. Despite its popularity in alternative medicine, some commercial grapefruit seed extracts contain synthetic preservatives such as benzethonium chloride, raising safety concerns. The FDA does not recognize it as a food additive or dietary supplement with proven health benefits.
