Erucylamide

Erucylamide is a synthetic fatty acid amide, often used as a slip agent in plastic food packaging materials and occasionally detected as a contaminant migrated into food. It is not a food ingredient per se but a material-related compound arising from materials in contact with food. Its presence in food is unintended and associated with polymer additives rather than direct consumption.
